Welcome to the SDSU Astronomy Department CCD Lab home page. The lab develops CCD control electronics and software, as well as complete CCD camera systems. In this page, we include links to the controller and software documents. Dr. Bob Leach is in charge of the CCD cameras, and is involved in other instrument development, as well as controlling circuitry and programming. The 40" telescope at Mt Laguna can be equipped with a 2048x2048 thinned, AR coated CCD from Loral or a 800x800 thinned Texas Instruments CCD chip for use in imaging.
