Throughout the current section we assume the existence of an input Photon Event Table named events.tbl containing photons from a certain portion of the sky. Furthermore, the tables attitude.tbl and eventrates.tbl, which contain respectively the satellite attitude and instrument count rates for dead time correction, as well as the calibration files, will be used.
Each subsection contains examples of typical command sequences which are subsequently explained in some detail.
