Calculate Azimuthal Intensity Profiles

 

For photon event file data the sector integrated (azimuthal) profile of a ring shaped region can be calculated with the command  

  
PLOT/RING_PROFILE

as described in the previous subsection.

The azimuthal profile is written to the table azievents.tbl which contains the columns (cf. Table 5.22). Azimuthal profiles cannot yet be calculated from data binned to an image.
