Spectral Header

 

 

Like the general EXSAS header there exists a special spectral EXSAS header (see Table 6.10), which describes a model spectrum and, if necessary, all the information of a fit. Following descriptors are explained in detail:

• PAR_ERR_CL_no -- parameter error of confidence level no derived from the covariance matrix (see descriptor CONFIDENCE_LEVL).  
• PAR_ERD_CL_no -- parameter error of confidence level no derived from the diagonal elements of the covariance matrix (see descriptor CONFIDENCE_LEVL).
• COUNT_RATE -- integrated count rate N of spectrum (input data) with three entries , (1 error), in units of s .
• PHOTON_FLUX -- integrated photon flux of spectrum in front of the telescope with three entries , (1 error), in units of photonscm s .
• ENERGY_FLUX -- integrated energy flux of spectrum in front of the telescope with three entries , (1 error), in units of keVcm s .

All other entries should be more or less self-explaining. The descriptors listed in Table 6.10 are automatically added as a spectral header to each file which contains a model spectrum. The header commands create/header and copy/header         can be used in connection with this spectral header.
