Calculation of a Model Spectrum

For calculation of a model spectrum the command MODEL/SPECTRUM has to be used. The result can be either a spectrum of photon fluxes or a spectrum of count rates. In the last case calibration files of the chosen instruments are needed for input. Of course, the energy range of the spectrum is then given by these instruments. In the first case this energy range has to be defined in the parameter file. It is restricted to 1000 data points. The parameter file can be created with the command CREATE/PARFIL FIT. Since MODEL/SPECTRUM internally uses an unit system of   cm, s, and keV for length, time, and energy, respectively,       with a Boltzmann constant tex2html_wrap_inline17885 ,   all output numbers are measured in this unit system. The calculated spectrum is stored in a table with a spectral header describing the used model.
