Some tasks allow the creation of extended parameter files (e.g. EXDL, EXDB, EXDM, EXSM, EXSP or EXUL). The parameter files will contain some additional parameters, mostly instrument-specific parameters or parameters for test and debugging issues. In normal use these parameters are hidden and are filled with the proper defaults for the specific experiment/detector. General users should change them only if they know about their meaning and possible influences on the results. To make those parameters appear in the parameter files, the command CREATE/PARFIL has to be used with the extended option. They can also be accessed with WRITE/PARFIL.
