Calculate Counts within a Circle

 

For data binned to an image the counts in a circle or in a ring will be     calculated with the command

INTEGRATE/RING [image] [coord] [limit] [displ]
 

The circle/ring can be specified by cursor or by numbers giving the coordinate of the center of the circle/ring and the radius of the inner and of the outer ring. In case of cursor input first specify the center of the ring, then specify one point lying at the inner ring and third one point lying at the outer ring. In case of a circle just specify one point lying at one ring and exit with a double click of the mouse exit button. Examples are :

INTEGRATE/RING
INTEGRATE/RING ? CURSOR 0.5 nodispl
INTEGRATE/RING image1  200.,210.,5.
INTEGRATE/RING image1  200.,210.,5.,10. ? displ
