    Use set/midas workenv=fits in MIDAS to work with fits files
  • IDL Use idl to start.
  • IRAF: Use mkiraf initially (only first time). Use ecl on logins later.
  • FTOOLS: Use fhelp ftools or fhelp xxx to see tasks (exp: fhelp swift).
    General routines to handle fits files and missions.
