Power-on Sequence for CCD controller Please follow this sequence to make sure that all components of the system are powered up. You will want to do this, even if just to monitor the CCD temperature:
- UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply)
The UPS is normally kept ON. This is the white box which sits on telescope control room. Don't forget to wait about 15 seconds after turning it on so that it can complete its self-test.You will hear a buzz when the battery gets tested. When the buzz ends, the 'ON-LINE' light will be illuminated and you can proceed.
- CCD CONTROLLER & SHUTTER
Turn on the CCD power supply which sits on the support strut at the left side of the telescope. Turn on the power of shutter control also.
NOTE: Be carefull not to damage fiber cables and possible LN2 connections to the dewar .
