This photograph was taken from Apollo 12 in orbit about the Moon. The view is looking to the southeast into the 189 km diameter Humboldt crater located at 27 S, 81 E. The central peaks of the crater are in the middle of the frame. They are bright white because of the high Sun angle. Arcs, linear features, and small craters can be seen on the crater floor.
