WebSpec is a WWW interface for the X-ray spectral fitting package, XSPEC
Currently, it can be used to simulate spectral data for a variety of X-ray missions/instruments.

Choose a Mission/Instrument

Specify the desired model expression by clicking on the proper combination of components and operators.

Some examples: Photoelectric Absorption * Meka
Photoelectric Absorption *( Power Law + Gaussian )
( Gaussian + Black Body + Power Law )* Photoelectric Absorption
