OBSERVATIONS & PUBLICATIONS

Observations:

Mainly the photoelectric observations of various interacting binary systems are made at two 30cm. telescopes (see TELESCOPES section) in Johnson UBV, Stromgren ubvy and H-beta (N&W) filters. The limiting magnitude is about 11mag. The observed type of interacting binary systems are:

  • Contact and near-contact binaries
  • Algol and RS CVn type binaries
  • OB-type massive binary systems
  • Ellipsoidal variables
  • Binary systems with atmospherical eclipses
  • Binary systems with WR and WD components

    Publications:

    Since 1953 total number of publications in national & international journals are about 250. List of publications is under construction and will be inserted here.
