Detectors

  The number of detectors is always kept in an integer descriptor, NDETS. This is ordinarily the same as the number of output data channels from the instrument.

• Columns NDET and DETNAME
• Column DETCODE
• Column DET
• Photomultipliers: DET= PMT
• Column COOLING
• Silicon photodiodes and CCDs: DET= SILICON
• Other detectors: DET= OTHER
