Unix

Using the Host version of FTOOLS will require several bits of information that should be provided by the system administrator that performed the Host installation. To use the Host version of FTOOLS the user must know the path to the location of the Host executable files and the parameter files. If FTOOLS was installed in the ftools account as described in the Installation Guide to FTOOLS, then this path is probably ~ftools/ftools/bin.host/. Otherwise contact the system administrator for this information. Setting up the user's account to use the Host version of FTOOLS can be accomplished manually or with a script as discussed below. The script set up is described first.
